ICT Days, the initiative launched in 2009 by the Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science of the University of Trento that reached its seventeenth edition, are dedicated to the Information and Communication Technology sector (ICT) and to boost the interaction among companies, researchers and students.
The 2025 edition is dedicated to the topic “Humans, Robots and AI”.
Through free participation in thematic seminars, workshops and meetings with Ph.D. students, participants will have the opportunity to get to know the teaching and research activities carried out within the Department, and to interact with researchers, teachers, university students, and partner companies.
Some events will take place both in presence and online.
What is ICT?
ICT, which stands for Information and Communication Technology, is the science that integrates the study of systems for processing, transforming, and transmitting information. It includes all the new technologies that allow us to handle and exchange information.
Made up of different areas —computer science, electronics, and telecommunications— ICT is the foundation of today’s technological evolution.
ICT is a pervasive science, present in every aspect of our lives: from research and education to the production of goods, healthcare, finance, and communication. It is the very foundation of all innovation and development in our society.
